The Ravenhurst Entertainment Group (R.E.G.) was formed in June 2009. We are currently looking for new clients. As part of our focus on improving the Maryland entertainment industry we are assisting Maryland Music Magazine towards increased circulation to establish a premiere print entertainment publication in Maryland. Jan 2010 - After a year and a half of investment into Shockwave Magazine attempting to assist that publication to become Maryland's premiere magazine, R.E.G. dissolved its partnership with Shockwave in Dec 2009 citing their failure to deliver on increased print quality, aggressively seeking advertisers, and increasing circulation. While R.E.G. made considerable investment of time and money into Shockwave as a partner, R.E.G. was not treated as a partner by Shockwave who continually undermined the mission of R.E.G. for their own benefit. With the owners insistent to run everything himself without the skill or time to accomplish that undermined the ability for Shockwave to have serious success. Shockwave has been circulating an average 100-200 copies of their print magazine for years, this remains, and they are content with that. Following R.E.G.'s abandonment of Shockwave, we are now backing the establishment of Maryland Music Magazine as the premiere print publication.

R.E.G. would like to welcome our new associates LB on the Waves, Krug's Place, Hellrayzor Media, and Music Scene Maryland.

Feb 2010 - R.E.G. has established itself at Krug's Place in Frederick, MD doing one Rock Showcase and one Xtreme Metal Bashing monthly. R.E.G. and LB on the Waves are working together to turn Krug's Place into a new hot spot in Frederick, MD. It has a great location, massive free parking, reasonable drink prices, food, pool tables, poker tournaments, and more. This month R.E.G. fulfilled the release of the print edition of Maryland Music Magazine. The new premiere publication is at this time exclusively available at Sinix in Baltimore, Krug's in Frederick, or by paid subscription.
